November 9, 2007 – Refrigeration equipment manufacturer Kysor//Warren celebrates 125 years of providing refrigeration solutions to the supermarket industry on Saturday, November 17. It started in 1882 when H.J. Shannen developed and patented the two-way cycle refrigeration system, and began manufacturing meat coolers in Atlanta, Georgia.

“Being 125 years old is very unique for any industry and we are proud of this accomplishment,” says Jim Laycock, President. “This experience allows us to provide our Customers with unique customer service and special value with leadin  g edge technology in the manufacturer of frozen, medium temp and heated display merchandisers, mechanical refrigeration systems and remote mechanical and electrical houses.”

To mark this milestone, we will celebrate at our manufacturing facilities in Columbus, Georgia.  Associates and their families are invited for lunch, plant tours, watch videos of Associates and have chances to win prizes. We will also have a dunking booth to benefit the Ronald McDonald House.
