Kysor//Warren introduces new multi-deck refrigerated merchandiser, built to reduce energy and provide flexibility
Columbus, Georgia – Kysor//Warren today unveiled a new multi-deck refrigerated merchandiser in the
STRATUS product line, the latest series of refrigerated display merchandisers that offer unprecedented flexibility in installation and superior energy-efficient features.
As stewards of the environment and through their “eKo” program, Kysor//Warren is committed to building sustainable products using advanced refrigeration technologies. These products lead the industry in reducing energy costs and improving product stability.
STRATUS models feature standard ECM fan motors, recycled/recyclable bumper and drain pan, and options for LED lighting using Kysor Digital Lights, and integrated night curtains.
The
STRATUS offers overall reduction in energy usage of 16%, compared to currently available products, and as much as 30% over the past generation of comparable products in the field. In addition, the high-efficiency LED lighting reduces energy consumption by at least 60% compared to fluorescent lighting. The 9-watt fan motors have dual speed programming and automatically adjust to load differences while maintaining a set speed and efficiency range. Optional integrated night curtains reduce energy use by 41% when in use, and by 12.6% overall when used six hours per day.

With four trim packages, selections can be made from multiple styles built to suit specific needs. The energy-saving features can also be installed next to existing cases in order to be consistent with a store’s current look.

STRATUS line also features improved solutions to allow for durability, ease of installation and maintenance. They include greater clearance under the case, casters, easy access to drain, easy-to-clean tub bottom, adjustable feet, easier raceway access, two-foot honeycomb sections, and more.
The multi-deck display cases for dairy, deli and bakery are the first of the complete series to be released. Further additions to this exciting new product line are planned in the coming months.
